沙蟹科（學名：Ocypodidae）係短尾次目沙蟹總科嘅其中一科，都係半陸生嘅（沼地生嘅）^[1]螃蟹，例如：沙蟹、鬼蟹、招潮蟹等。喺東南亞嘅濕地好常見。呢啲沙蟹科嘅物種通常鍾意匿喺泥灘上自己掘嘅窿裏面，到退潮時先走返出來搵嘢食。佢哋用自己嘅細螯嚟食嘢，直接挖走泥灘上面嘅泥吞落肚，攞泥入面嘅有機質做養分。濾返出嚟嘅無營養泥土會直接由個口度𠼱返出來。呢啲𠼱返出來嘅「排洩物」，我哋叫佢做擬糞，即係好似屎，但又唔係屎。

沙蟹科本來係一個都幾大嘅分類單元，包含過唔少嘅亞科同埋屬，但現時分類修訂過之後，部分亞科由沙蟹科升格獨立出去成為一個科，同剩低喺沙蟹科嘅其他分類合組成為沙蟹總科。呢啲獨立咗出去嘅分類有毛帶蟹科（Dotillidae）同埋大眼蟹科（Macrophthalmidae），但部分文獻仍然用緊舊嘅分類，將呢兩個科仍然列為本科嘅亞科^[2]。

根據2016年的最新文獻，沙蟹科除咗原來嘅兩個亞科^[3]^[4]之外，其中兩個曾經獨立過出去嘅亞科現今又返返入來做返本科嘅亞科。以下係按WoRMS統合嘅資枓詳細亞科同屬分類^[5]^[6]：
