 砂巨蜥嘅分布（紅色部分）
|
砂巨蜥係澳洲一種大型嘅蜥蜴。分布喺森林以至草原地帶。以食老鼠、昆蟲同埋小型動物為生。可分2個亞種：
- Gould's Goanna（Varanus g. gouldi）
- Desert Sand Monitor（Varanus g. flavirufus）
