SIMBAD

SIMBAD係英文the Set of Identifications, Measurements, and Bibliography for Astronomical Data嘅簡寫，係 is an 天文上便，太陽系以外嘅天體資料庫。由法國嘅Centre de Données astronomiques de Strasbourg (CDS)負責管理。

SIMBAD係兩個名錄合成，Catalog of Stellar Identifications (CSI)同埋Bibliographic Star Index，1979年前，兩個都係Meudon Computer Centre負責。之後夾多啲其他資料同學術文獻來源。1981年，第一個網上系統，第二版（Version 2）造好。而1990年第三版（Version 3），係C程式語言寫嘅，喺UNIX上便行，移到去Strasbourg Observatory。2006年秋，第四版（Version 4）改用PostgreSQL做資料庫，而相關軟件，就用Java程式語言寫。

2007年6月14號為止，SIMBAD有382萬4195個天體，按名計有1120萬0785。參考傳記（bibliographical references）有20萬9451，傳記（bibliographic citations）引文有545萬5841。
