北部蛇頸龜，又叫皺面長頸龜、北部長頸龜、扁頭長頸龜、扁頭蛇頸龜，分布喺澳洲北部，新畿內亞同皮特凱恩群島嘅蛇頸龜品種，最大長40cm。

北部蛇頸龜喺食肉性龜類，食魚、蝌蚪、兩棲類、其他龜種嘅幼龜，甲殼類、蠕蟲同昆蟲。

北部蛇頸龜唔只喺淡水，新畿內亞南部嘅鹹水都見到。
