地理史

地理史係一門歷史，專講由古至今人點做地理，人點去理解地球本身，地球同人關係。窄啲來講，地上面有山川水土，以及出海航行睇到乜，以及各地風土人情咁。人收集呢啲料，編成地理誌，畫成輿圖。而地理之中，地圖學尤其代表。

中國遠古地理，有山海經。或者遠古留落來，文字太過難解。之後有禹貢，分九州，錄入書經入便。而地理呢個名，地好似石上文理一樣，有所依循，出自孔丘注易經周易，亦即繫辭。

而漢書有地理志，開史書呢門先河。

古希臘世界

西方各國，都會用希臘文描寫土地，γεωγραφία來講地理。隨住亞歷山大大帝遠征，催生出理解地理需要，而描寫土地叫法，愛拉托散尼第一個用呢個字。而地圖就一直用圓盤形來描述世界。

咁唔同文化，唔同政治羣體之間，地理各有種種睇法。

埃及以尼羅河做中心。巴比倫至早有地圖，西元前九世紀。

坤輿萬國全圖

大明時，同利瑪竇一齊整出坤輿萬國全圖，好精緻世界地圖。

現代科技可以用衞星影像來睇通地球。
