象屬係長鼻目、象科以下嘅一個屬。現時只有一個屬：亞洲象（E. maximus），但有10 種已絕種嘅象其後亦被證實屬於呢個屬：包括Elephas recki、Elephas antiquus、同侏儒象（Elephas falconeri），（Elephas cypriotes）。呢個屬同長毛象屬（Mammuthus）非常之接近。
