English: Lhotse, south face, view from Chukhung Ri. This peak is connected to Mount Everest via the South Col. In addition to the main summit at 8,516 meters above sea level. The south face rises 3.2 km in only 2.25 km of horizontal distance, which makes it the steepest face of this size in the world.
