描述

My repair and modifications of an old volume pedal.

An old Visual Volume pedal I bought when I was poor. :-) It was used and the LEDs didn't work so I got it cheap.

I found a new LM3814 chip on eBay as part of a beginner's LED kit and fixed it. I also modified the taper of the pot, filtered the LEDs so they don't flicker, and made the power supply more robust so it won't short out and destroy the chip again. I also made it so I could power it off the same supply as my effects pedal for convenience.

Now that I'm an engineer, and (theoretically) making a lot of money, you would think I would just buy a new pedal...
