HD 217107 c係一粒系外行星[2]，喺雙魚座入邊，距離地球大約64光年咁遠。佢係第二粒被發現圍住恆星HD 217107轉嘅行星。喺1998年，科學家發現圍住恆星HD 217107轉嘅行星HD 217107 b嘅軌道比預期中更加橢圓，所以推測佢出面仲有一粒行星圍住HD 217107轉，去到2005年對恆星嘅徑向速度分析確定發現HD 217107 c，係喺HD 217107 b嘅外面而且係重過佢，軌道呈橢圓形，公轉週期超過十年。
發現[編輯]
1998年對HD 217107嘅徑向速度研究顯示佢有一個週期係7.1日嘅變化，顯示佢有一粒行星係以呢個週期圍住佢公轉。呢粒行星被命名為HD 217107 b，重過木星，軌道距離恆星HD 217107好近，被分類為熱木星，而且比起其他同類行星，佢嘅軌道比較橢圓。[3]
大部份公轉週期10日以內嘅行星個軌道都好圓（離心率低），而HD 217107 b嘅高離心率顯示星系入邊好可能有第二粒行星，距離幾個天文單位（AU），個引力影響到佢嘅軌道。[4]2005年確認發現第二粒行星，命名為HD 217107 c。
HD 217107 c嘅數據喺研究初期只有一啲好弱嘅界限，週期最少係8年、高離心率、質量最少係木星嘅兩倍。後續嘅研究大幅收窄咗數據嘅範圍，現時嘅數據係喺2008年發表嘅。[5]
