撫育禮拜日

撫育禮拜日致敬一種,一年一度向母聖堂致敬[1]四旬期第四個禮拜日。慶祝出自中世紀英國[3],要人記得自己原本聖堂,喺嗰處受洗,同埋變成聖堂啲細蚊仔。史上會返去母聖堂,嗰處受洗禮聖事。中世紀呢日啲人會返屋企,同亞媽屋企人相聚,尤其去做僕人,得呢日返屋企。

開呢日有聖經根據,同新耶路撒冷有關[4]。耶路撒冷擬人做亞媽[5]。而經文中五餅二魚件事,加強大地之母同撫育禮拜日關係[6]。中世紀就轉移去本地聖堂座堂,有時甚至聖堂之間失控[7]

回應一九一三年推動美國母視節影響[8][9],英國基督教復興咗呢日,加多意思,同地上亞媽致敬,同耶穌亞媽童貞馬利亞致敬,同自然之母致敬。後來呢日化成俗世英國母親日,變成祝賀母親撫育[2]

呢日撞歡喜禮拜日,撞四旬期半禮拜日,撞慰藉禮拜日。佢啱啱喺四旬期齋戒節食中途,睇成喘息日。 出於五餅二魚故事,同埋暫緩四旬期節食,地方有唔同包食餅食,尤其幼麪粉蛋糕會送畀父母[10]。個糕同撫育禮拜日,同復活節有關[11]

由於四旬期跟復活節定日期,而復活節按滿月定而浮動,撫育禮拜日都逐年浮動。
