宇宙主義
宇宙主義（cosmicism）係一種文學思想。用咗宇宙主義嘅作品重視展示人嘅微不足道。

宇宙主義嘅思想被指係引起咗愛卡夫式恐怖呢種廿世紀新興嘅恐怖文學體裁。喺主題上，愛卡夫式恐怖傾向有以下呢啲特徵：
- 結合咗恐怖同科幻，前所未知嘅神秘現象完全粉碎嗮人類對現實作嘅假設[1]；
- 描繪要面對自己理解唔到、而且規模遠大於人類尺度嘅事物嗰陣，人類會感受到嘅恐懼同無助[2]；
- 描繪有關「人類喺浩瀚嚴酷嘅宇宙當中有乜地位」嘅思考，仲有係由「發現可悲嘅真相」－即係「人類查實好渺小」呢個真相－而生嘅恐怖感[3]；
... 等等。
