人类的长睫毛

眼翕毛（翕讀邑，毛讀陰平調），又寫眼泣毛或者眼挹毛，又叫 眼睫毛，生喺眼皮邊邊嘅毛。用嚟保護對眼，作用似貓鬚（whisker）。當眼泣毛碰到啲外來嘅嘢，好似塵咁， 眼皮就反射咁反應，合埋，保護對眼。

人嘅眼泣毛

眼泣毛喺個胎第七到第八個星期大嘅生出嚟。掹咗或剪咗嘅眼泣毛要七到八個星期生返出嚟。眼泣毛一般同其他嘅毛同髮唔同色，深色頭髮嘅人眼泣毛深色啲，淺色頭髮嘅人眼泣毛淺色啲。

Growth is reported to occur primarily on the upper eyelashes.
