ESEA Newsletter January 2016[編輯]
ESEA Newsletter is out! Check out some amazing work done by Wikimedia Communities in East and Southeast Asia! Here is the summary of the Newsletter.
- 4,310 articles in 41 language versions of Wikipedia contributed during the Wikipedia Asian Month 2015.
- 40 Wikimedians celebrated 15th anniversary of Wikipedia in Hong Kong.
- 100 books are digitalized and uploaded to Wikimedia Projects in collaboration between Wikimedia Indonesia and Museum Tamansiswa Dewantara Kirti Griya.
- 46 entries of are contributed to Chinese WIkipedia by Wikimedia Taiwan project partnered with National Chiao Tung University.
- Wikimedia Philippines announces its new project: the Encyclopedia of Philippine Heritage (EPH), as the second phase of Cultural Heritage Mapping Project, which contributed 800 articles in past two years.
Wikimania 2016: call for posters, discussions and trainings[編輯]
Hi people,
the calls for posters, discussions and trainings for Wikimania 2016 are officially opened, you can find all the relevant links on the conference wiki:

The calls will be closed on March 20.
Posters will be reviewed just to make sure that there aren't things which are too much out of scope. Since we have a whole village we will surely find places to attach them, even if we they will be a lot!
Discussions will be managed by a guiding committee who will work on the wiki to meld all the proposals and suggestions.
Trainings will be reviewed by the programme committee. Please note that we request that each training has at least 3-5 interested attendees in order to be put in the programme.
By the beginning of April we will have a first list of all the accepted proposals.
If you have questions we suggest you to ask them on the discussion pages on wiki, so that everyone will be able to see them (and their answers, of course).

粵文維基百科十週年[編輯]
今個月25號，係粵文維基百科十週年。經大家努力，文章數排名近排再度返到歷史高位（第79位），總算唔失禮。唔知有無人有興趣為十週年設計個紀念logo？--Kowlooner (傾偈) 2016年3月6號 (日) 13:08 (UTC)

今個六月，即見編輯器正式啟動[編輯]

之前講過，即見編輯器 (VisualEditor) 好快就會喺呢個維基百科度啟用。以下會講下之後發生嘅事。如果想知更多，請上 mediawiki.org.
- 咩會變？
- 喺新嘅編輯器入面，介面會得返一個「改」掣，個掣會記住你上次用咗文本定係即見編輯器 (記住我上次用過邊個編輯器)。
呢個改動會影響所有最近編輯過嘅人，包括匿名用戶。 - 咁我點轉去另外嗰個編輯器？
- 幾個月前，我哋已經喺兩個編輯器度加咗新嘅掣，等你可以由一個編輯器轉去另一個，唔使先記好呢版，亦會唔見任何內容。
個掣喺工具列右邊，由即見編輯器轉去文本編輯器個掣有個方括號樣([[ ]])；由文本轉即見嗰個掣就有支鉛筆樣(
)。
- 有冇其他玩法？
- 有。你可以揀：
- 盡量畀即見編輯器我 (預設即見編輯。如果你臨時轉去文本編輯器，系統唔會記住。淨係影響可以用即見編輯器嘅空間名(namespace)。)
- 每次都畀源碼編輯器我 (預設文本編輯。如果你臨時轉去即見編輯器，系統唔會記住。)
- 我要晒兩個編輯掣 (自2013年就有嘅玩法。用過嘅人心照。)
- 提示：所有人都可以用上述嗰兩個掣，喺即見同埋文本之間轉換。
- 點改我嘅喜好設定？
- 如果你想試吓新嘅系統：乜都唔使改，歡迎上船。
- 如果你已經喺設定度閂咗即見編輯，亦唔打算開始用即見編輯：乜都唔使改。
- 所有簽到咗嘅用戶都可以去 自訂喜好 入面改 改嘢 → 編輯模式： 嘅選項。呢個選項只需要改一次。記得撳「記低」！ ;)
- 之前閂咗即見編輯器嘅用戶，要開返先至會見到呢個選項！
- 之前用開即見編輯器嘅用戶，喺即見編輯器正式啟動後第一次編輯時會見到一個提示，可以喺嗰度撳入去改喜好設定。當然你之後可以隨時再去「喜好設定」度改你嘅設定。
- 最近用過即見編輯器嘅匿名用戶，亦都可以用呢個方法揀佢哋想用邊個編輯器。
- 提示：所有人都可以隨時用上述嗰兩個掣，喺即見同埋文本之間轉換。
- 講多兩句
- 唔該廣傳呢個消息，話畀大家知呢個大改動。呢個改動會先影響簽到咗嘅用戶，確定冇大問題，然後遲幾日再影響匿名用戶。
- 如果你發現即見編輯器出現任何奇怪現象，唔該喺度話畀我哋聽。我仲想多謝咁多位努力令呢個大改動盡量順暢嘅同事、義工。

上個月最多人睇嘅文[編輯]
最近幫手整理呢度最多人睇嘅文，啱啱有上個月結果，冠軍居然係好爆冷嘅小籠包。綜合過去五個月結果，都大致可以睇到呢度最多人關注嘅題材類型，多數都係一啲政治、娛樂、粗口、性、賭博嘅內容，值得留意嘅係有8篇文五個月都有上榜：中文維基百科、中華民國、香港麻雀、廣東話粗口、吳思佳、六四事件、手淫、鄧小平，大家不妨可以考慮下優先提升呢啲文嘅質素。--Ivanlam88 (傾偈) 2016年6月5號 (日) 09:08 (UTC)
