坪石公共圖書館

坪石公共圖書館係香港一間已經關閉嘅公共圖書館。呢個圖書館喺九龍坪石邨鑽石樓二樓，喺1972年7月21號由香港市政局成立。不過隨住牛池灣市政大廈嘅建成，呢間圖書館喺1987年4月20日正式結業，之後由牛池灣公共圖書館接手。

史

1968年起，香港市政局計劃喺香港島同九龍提供公共圖書館服務，決定喺坪石邨開第五間市政局公共圖書館，為牛池灣同啟德一帶嘅居民服務[1][2]。1972年7月20號，坪石公共圖書館舉行開幕典禮，由市政局文化工作委員會成員葉錫恩女士主持，翌日正式對外開放[3][4]。最初官方英文名係「Urban Council Public Library - Ping Shek Branch」或「Ping Shek Branch Library」──即坪石分區圖書館，之後先改宜家個英文名[5]。

1978年，市政局圖書館專責委員會見計劃起牛池灣市政大廈，建議喺嗰度設立圖書館，取代坪石公共圖書館[6]。去到1987年3月，市政局定咗4月17號坪石公共圖書館會閂門，畀館方復活節期間安排搬館[7]。4月20號正式閂門，並喺7月30號向房屋署交吉[8]。

設施同服務

圖書館樓面面積1,013平方米[9]，設有成人圖書館、兒童圖書館、報刊閱覽室同埋學生自修室，其中自修室設有144個座位[2]。首年已有約11,000個會員，主要來自坪石邨同彩虹邨，亦有來自觀塘、牛頭角、黃大仙同慈雲山嘅居民[5]。除咗中英圖書借還服務外，館方更設立參考圖書部，並向學生舉辦參觀活動，介紹館內設施[5]。截至1982年，館內中英藏書共有61,100本[9]。
