音系字詞

音系字詞（粵拼：jam1 hai6 zi6 ci4；英文：phonological word）係指「按音系特徵嚟界定嘅字詞」^[1]。呢種情況常見於歐洲語言：包括英文、法文等嘅多種歐洲語言，啲字詞都會有某啲固定嘅音系特性。

例如係英文噉，喺英文入面，每隻字詞都梗會有其中一段音節係重音嘅，而好似 hot dog（熱狗）噉，英式英文通常會係 hot 讀重音而 dog 就冇重音（想像大致似粵拼 hot1 dok4），喺呢種情況下，按音系字詞嘅觀點 hot dog 個 dog 唔可以視為一隻字詞，而要算係 hot dog 呢一隻字詞嘅第二音節——縱使喺書寫上，啲人成日會搵個空格隔開 hot 同 dog，令兩者望落似兩隻字詞^[2]。
