第一次中東戰爭係以色列同阿剌伯國家喺1948年嘅一場仗。嗰年以色列復國，令到巴勒斯坦人同阿剌伯聯盟非常不滿，所以阿剌伯聯盟向以色列宣戰。喺高質素嘅戰鬥人員同美國支援下，阿剌伯聯軍始終無辦法打贏以色列，經過幾次停火同重新開戰之後，雙方喺1949年簽停戰協定。呢場戰爭開啟咗之後連串嘅地區衝突，惡化阿剌伯同以色列、西方國家嘅關係。另外亦都造成巴勒斯坦難民問題。
