工程師gung1 cing4 si1（engineer）係專事工程嘅人，負責發明、設計、分析、建造、測試機械、系統、結構、材料，來到滿足需求，亦同時考慮可行性、法律規管、安全同金錢成本帶來嘅限制。^[1]^[2]
