中世紀後英文

中世紀後英文zung1 sai3 gei2 hau6 jing1 man2（英文：Early New English）係指大致 15 世紀（帝舵時期）至 17 世紀中之間嘅英文^[1]。

伊利沙伯英文[編輯]

伊利沙伯英文係指伊利沙伯時期 (1558 - 1603 年；女王伊利沙伯一世在位嘅期間) 嗰陣嘅英文。當時嘅英文同廿一世紀初嘅有顯著差異，尤其係喺啲代名詞嗰度—伊利沙伯英文會（例如）用 thou 指「你」同 thy 指「你嘅」。

除此之外，當時嘅英格蘭發生咗件大事：就係啲人正式將聖經完整噉翻譯做英文，而呢啲譯版好多現代人都用緊^[2]。
