挪威海怪（英文：kraken）係源自北歐嗰頭嘅一種傳說中嘅海中怪獸。根據傳說對佢嘅描述，挪威海怪係一種巨型（可以有成架船咁大）、能夠獨力整沉啲船嘅怪獸，响形象上係似巨型嘅八爪魚或者墨魚等嘅頭足綱動物。根據北歐人嘅民間傳說，挪威海怪住喺挪威對開嗰個海，會對周圍嘅船同水手造成威脅[1]。
挪威海怪喺現代嘅奇幻故仔入面成日都會出現，例如《魔盜王》（Pirates of the Caribbean）當中講到挪威海怪用佢啲觸手纏住船令船沉沒嘅情節噉，就好深入民心。
