象牙塔
象牙塔（粵音：zoeng6 ngaa4 taap3；英文：ivory tower）係指想像中一笪「俾一班人與世隔絕噉追求自己喜好」嘅地方。喺廿一世紀初嘅應用上，「象牙塔」一詞成日係俾人攞嚟形容學者：啲人批評話有好多學者都淨係掛住研究啲普通大眾唔會關注嘅課題，忽略「自己啲研究有冇實用價值」呢點，好似完全生活咗喺自己嘅世界入面噉，就會話呢啲學者「生活喺象牙塔入面」[1]。
