信賴粵拼seon3 laai6英文trust),又有叫信任,係會喺人際關係嗰道出現嘅一樣嘢。喺心理學社會學等嘅領域上,信賴嘅基本定義如下:如果話一個個體 A-A 係或者第啲動物都得-信賴另一個個體 B(信賴嘅對象),即係話 A 相信 B 係[1][2]

  1. 唔會害自己,而且
  2. 會做出預期嘅正面行為嘅。

舉個例說明,想像有個病人受咗傷,如果話個病人信賴照顧緊佢嘅醫護人員(信賴嘅對象),意思即係話個病人覺得啲醫護人員唔會害佢,而且係會盡力噉想醫好佢(會做預期嘅正面行為)嘅;於是個病人就會(例如)肯瞓喺張上面(唔會想反抗或者走佬)俾醫生護士睇佢個傷口-「俾對方睇自己傷口」係一個會曝露自己脆弱點嘅動作,一個個體肯做呢個動作正路表示佢認為對方唔會害佢[3][4]

社會科學好有興趣研究信賴呢樣嘢:除咗心理學同社會學出於好奇而做嘅理論性研究之外[5],應用性嘅商學都對信賴呢個概念好有興趣-經濟學方面嘅思考發現,一個經濟體裏面嘅信賴會左右啲生意人有幾肯做交易[6],而呢樣嘢會對經濟增長有深遠嘅影響;另一方面,管理學上又有思考點樣可以令啲員工彼此之間信賴,等成班人一齊做起嘢上嚟順利啲[7]
