電子遊戲史係指電子遊戲嘅歷史。

早期[編輯]

  • 1962 年:有電腦科學家麻省理工學院製作咗《太空戰爭》(Spacewar!)呢隻遊戲,一般俾人覺得係世上第一隻射擊遊戲。
  • 1978 年:《太空侵略者》呢隻著名嘅街機射擊遊戲問世;呢隻遊戲一般俾人認為係清版射擊遊戲嘅元祖,而且仲創始咗「曉還手嘅 AI 敵人」-唔似得打前嗰啲射擊遊戲噉,淨係要求玩家射一啲可能曉郁但唔曉還手嘅靶[1]

1980 年代[編輯]

2005 年影到嘅一部《大金剛街機

平台遊戲史上嘅重要事件主要有以下呢啲:

  • 1980 年代日本出咗多隻光槍射擊遊戲,亦都帶起咗「3D 射擊遊戲」嘅諗頭。
  • 1981 年任天堂發行街機遊戲大金剛》(Donkey Kong),呢隻遊戲廣泛噉畀人覺得係史上首隻平台遊戲;隻遊戲一出就大受歡迎-喺美國,隻遊戲到咗 1982 年 6 月經已賣咗超過 60,000 部,賺咗超過 1 億 8,000 萬文美金咁多;有業界人士指,呢場巨大嘅成功直接助長咗任天堂及後成為電子遊戲業其中一個龍頭[2]
  • 1983 年:任天堂乘住《大金剛》股勢繼續開發更多嘅平台遊戲,並且喺 1983 年發行街機遊戲《水管孖寶兄弟》(Mario Bros);呢隻遊戲可以有兩位玩家一齊合作玩,一位玩家控制瑪利奧,另一位玩家控制瑪利奧個孖生細佬路易治,係史上第一隻有合作遊戲模式嘅平台遊戲[3]。順帶一提,呢隻遊戲亦係史上第一次正式嗌瑪利奧做「瑪利奧」-放棄咗 Jumpman 呢個舊名[4]
  • 1984 年南夢宮發行《食鬼世界》(Pac-Land),呢隻遊戲可以算係世上第一隻打到入主流嘅橫向捲軸遊戲,而橫向捲軸呢種技術,打後嘅 2D 平台遊戲一路都有採用[5][6]
  • 1985 年:《孖寶兄弟》(Super Mario Bros)發行,係史上其中一隻最好賣嘅電子遊戲,直至 1996 年為止賣咗成超過 5,000 萬件;業界普遍認為,呢隻遊戲係瑪利奧(以至平台遊戲整體)得以進入主流嘅主因,而且瑪利奧咁成功,就引起任天堂繼續開發瑪利奧相關嘅遊戲-形成咗《超級瑪利奧系列》呢個對電子遊戲業影響深遠嘅系列[7]
  • 1987 - 1988 年:《合金裝備》-合金裝備系列首作-喺紅白機問世;呢隻遊戲俾人認為係第一隻出喺家用遊戲機度嘅潛行遊戲,同時亦都俾人指係第一隻成功打到入主流電子遊戲市場嘅潛行遊戲;喺呢隻遊戲入面,主角固體蛇(Solid Snake)開始嗰時咩武器都冇,焗住要喺搵到武器之前齋靠潛行過關,而且就算搵到武器,子彈數量都好有限,所以好多時玩家就算有武器都會想靠潛行;而且啲敵人會有視線同埋聽到冇滅聲器嘅槍嘅聲,關卡各處又有閉路電視同感應器會探測到玩家角色-呢隻遊戲奠定咗潛行遊戲個基本格局[8][9]
  • 1980 年代係潛行遊戲嘅起源:《Castle Wolfenstein》响 1981 年嘅美國問世;呢隻遊戲要求玩家通過一座城堡嘅關卡,途中要偷取某啲物品同逃走,玩家可以假扮成敵人避開敵人嘅探測;一般認為,呢隻遊戲算係世上第一隻有潛行成份嘅遊戲,《Castle Wolfenstein》及後仲喺 1984 年出咗隻續集,包括咗俾玩家用匕首殺敵等嘅機制;因為噉,《Castle Wolfenstein》可以話係開創咗現代潛行遊戲嘅好多常用諗頭[10]

1990 年代[編輯]

  • 1990 年代:射擊遊戲開始多樣化,當中美國出咗《毀滅戰士》呢隻俾人認為係史上第一隻算係做到主流嘅第一身射擊遊戲[註 1],而且隨住 3D 電腦圖像開始普及(可以睇吓 PlayStationN64),第一身射擊遊戲同第三身射擊遊戲開始有咗全面嘅發展-《盜墓者羅拉系列》同《生化危機系列》等有射擊成份嘅出名遊戲系列都係喺呢個時期出首作嘅。
  • 1998 年:一般認為,1998 年係潛行遊戲史上嘅一個重要時間點;喺呢一年,電子遊戲界出咗三份重要嘅作品-
    • 天誅:潛行刺客》(Tenchu: Stealth Assassins):以忍者做主題,係世上第一隻完全 3D 嘅潛行遊戲。
    • 合金裝備》(Metal Gear Solid):將合金裝備系列帶到去一個新高峰,賣咗成超過 7,000,000 份咁多[11],俾人認為係電子遊戲史上最重要嘅作品之一,亦都因而令更多人有咗「潛行遊戲」嘅概念[8]
    • 神偷:暗黑計劃》(Thief: The Dark Project):以賊仔做主題,史上第一隻用第一人身(玩家由主角對眼睇嘢)嘅潛行遊戲,而且仲有用光同黑暗嘅機制嚟幫玩家潛行(玩家可以匿埋喺環境入面暗啲嘅地方,用黑暗避開敵人嘅探測)[12]

2000 年代[編輯]

  • 2001 年:《最後一戰系列》出第一作。
    • 俠盜獵車手 III》(Grand Theft Auto III;2001 年):查實有遊戲設計界工作者指出,早喺 1970 年代至 1980 年代經已有算或多或少噉開放(唔線性)嘅電子遊戲[13],當中最出名嘅要數 1986 年嘅《薩爾達傳說[14];不過一般認為,史上第一隻 3D 而且算係打到入主流市場嘅開放世界遊戲就係《俠盜獵車手 III》;呢隻遊戲影響力極大,賣咗超過 100,000,000 份咁多[15],跟住仲帶起咗《俠盜獵車手:罪惡城市》(GTA VC)同埋《俠盜獵車手:聖安地列斯》(GTA SA)等嘅一系列《俠盜獵車手》遊戲。有唔少打後嘅開放世界遊戲喺設計上都受到《俠盜獵車手 III》啟發。因為噉,《俠盜獵車手 III》一般都畀人覺得係廿一世紀開放世界遊戲嘅起點。
  • 2003 年:《使命召喚系列》出第一作。
  • 2007 年:《絕地要塞 2》問世,令英雄射擊遊戲嘅諗頭喺電子遊戲界冒起。

2010 年代[編輯]

  • 2015 年:《合金裝備 V 幻痛》(Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain)問世;呢隻遊戲結合咗潛行遊戲同開放世界,亦都出名在啲 NPC 有先進嘅人工智能[16]
  • 2017 年:《食雞》(PUBG)問世,確立咗大逃殺遊戲呢隻遊戲類型,打後仲引起咗一股大逃殺遊戲嘅風潮,令遊戲界有咗《要塞英雄》、《Apex 英雄》同埋《使命召喚:戰爭地帶》(Call of Duty: Warzone)等嘅作品,當中每隻新嘅遊戲都各自噉喺「大逃殺射擊遊戲」上作出咗一啲重要嘅創新[17]
    • 薩爾達傳說:曠野之息》(The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild;2017 年):呢隻遊戲畀評論家指係引起咗開放世界遊戲界嘅範式轉移,喺呢隻遊戲入面,除咗遊戲教學嘅階段之外,幾乎所有嘅任務同戰鬥都係完全自由(玩家有得揀做定唔做)咁滯,呢點唔似得《俠盜獵車手》同《看門狗》等嘅開放世界遊戲噉「可以自由探索遊戲世界,但故仔任務一定要跟某啲次序做」;曠野之息亦都用咗極精緻嘅遊戲物理;因為呢啲噉嘅緣故,曠野之息畀人指係真正做到一個畀玩家自由探索、按自己法則運行嘅世界[18][19]
